Obituary of Vincent E. Hochstein

Vincent E. Hochstein born on May 11, 1949 passed away Dec. 29, after a long battle with Liver disease. He passed peacefully at the Tacoma Rehab Nursing center. After High School,Vincent served 4 years in the Navy. Mainly in San Diego and Clairemont California. Enjoyed several hobbies including Fishing, Hunting, Golfing, Bowling. His passion was fishing. He enjoyed fishing in the bay/ocean and surrounding lakes. He was always ready with a story of the big one that got away. Even if you had heard it before. You could always count on him catching something when he went along. Even though you may not. He was willing to share his knowledge of what to use to catch the big one. Often sharing his equipment to see if it would help you catch the next big one. Survived by daughter Melissa & her mother Becky, Mother Marcella Hochstein, Sisters Alice Zellman (Leonard), Marcia Knight (David), Patricia Mcsherry (David) Brothers Gregory Hochstein (Teri), Jeffery Hochstein (Kim), Many Neices, Nephews, Cousins, Friends. Preceded in death by Father Vince Hochstein Sr. At his request no services will be held. A celebration of life will be held on January 14, 1PM at the Amvets located on 5717 South Tyler in Tacoma.
