Grandpa was my favorite fishing partner and friend with whom i could share my childhood insecurities and gain trust and love.As i grew older his wisdom always remained fast and true and I will miss him dearly.

I'm so glad you are no longer suffering, Grandpa. I'll miss you so much! Thanks for passing on the love of music. You always asked me if I'm still playing my 'Tooter'.(SAX) I cherished holding your hand as you held my face and I watched you fall asleep when you first got sick. we didn't need words. We just felt the blessing of being a family. Thanks for giving me such a great Dad!!! I know he found great comfort when you reached out to shake his hand those last 2 times. We knew you were saying,'It's ok, son. You've done everything you can. I'm proud you were my son.' Yes, you were a Rough Tough Clough, but I saw the tenderness in your eyes and know you loved me as I have loved you. Gone Fiddlin'??? You will live on in the hearts of family and Friends!!! I love you, Grandpa! Your Granddaughter, Julie Elizabeth (Clough) Chamberlain
