When Barb and Jan transferred from Visitation to Gray Jr. High, I was fortunate enough to develop a lifelong friendship with both girls. Barbara was my Maid-of-Honor and Janice my Bridesmaid when I married Keith Margeson. Mel and his father built our home for us. Throughout the years we have shared the joys and woes of life. No birthday luncheon will go by without thinking of Barb and how much we miss her. Barbara was a generous and kind friend, a beautiful woman, It is with a sad heart that I send my condolences to the love of her life, Mel, and her grieving family.

Barbara and I taught at Clover park together teaching the same anatomy and physiology classes. She taught the evening program and I the day program. Barb was so much fun to work with. I loved the dolls she made. For my retirement , Barb made a doll for me. That was 23years ago . I still have the doll and treasure it. What a joy she was to know. Heaven now has a new shining star. Our family will fondly remember her.

So sorry to hear of Barb's passing. She was such an elegant lady, and a fabulous nurse. Her students just loved her. Always had a smile and a gentle touch for all. So loved seeing how she decorated each room at Christmas! She will be missed for sure!

As a young graduate of TGH School of Nursing I was working in the TGH newborn and neonatal nursery. That is where I first got to know Barbara as a coworker and mentor. In a down moment in the nursery one day we took a quick break and Barbara pierced my ears with a needle and a bar of soap behind my ears.
In the past several years we served together on the alumnae board and chaired the yearly alumnae banquet together and served together on the scholarship committee. I also joined an investment club that was started by Barbara! I am truly going to miss her creativity and friendship! She was the most positive and amazing lady I know!

I first met Barbara at TGH when I was a student nurse. She was always so available to share her love of nursing and her skills with students during our OB rotation. I later had the privilege of her friendship working at Clover Park Technical College where she taught the evening nursing program and I was teaching the same program in Enumclaw Buckley area. It was always fun to see her at faculty meetings.
Barbara will be missed greatly by those that had the privilege of knowing her.

My most fun work experience was teaching at Clover Park with Barb. We co-taught the evening program and became fast friends.
Thanks Barb, for introducing me to a wonderful experience!

I always considered Barbara to be one of my best friends. She had the gifts of a joyous spirit, a flair for living life to the fullest, and a genuine love of people. I imagine that everyone who knew her also thought of her as their best friend.
We became friends as neighbors 52 years ago when Jocko and I first moved to Tacoma. Randy and our boys played together. She gave the best parties, cooked the best food, and all with such a creative and fun spirit.
I have been so blessed with her many years of friendship and love.

Barbara was the most intelligent, kind, creative and loving person. I felt honored to be her friend, co-TGHSON alum, co-worker at TG, co-committee member for alumnae support and nurse education,. recipient of her cooking, her ideas, her teaching and her love. Yes, she loved to shop, but not for just herself. She was always looking for that special item to give to her friends and family at many shops locally and around the world. She not only gave gifts, but she gave her heart. It made her happy to see that others were happy and loved. I will miss her in my life. There is no one else like her.
God's Speed Barbara.

25 years ago Barbara launched my career in the financial services industry by asking me to help dozens of women start up as many as 12 ladies investment clubs. After 25 years One club remained (the Trans Generational Investment Friends TGIF for short) they disbanded just a few months ago, for a wide variety of reasons, but included retirement travel and health issues. Sprint, T-mobile, Verizon and AT&T all boast about their largest of large networks ....they do not even come close to the Barbara Bullinger Network of family and friends! An amazing woman...Love and miss her!
