We knew Kris well, as my husband and I both worked at Puget Sound Bank. We used to attend her New Years eve gathering for years and always had a good time with old friends. Kris was one of a kind and a very special person to us. While I stayed at Key for a few years before moving on to Columbia, Kris and I stayed in touch. Which again was fate or providence, as my husband became a Compliance consultant. He and Kris remained in touch, when she was at Columbia. When I read about her "Girl Scout" experience with the description of their motto....I thought wow that was Kris's integrity and qualities for sure. She and I loved to laugh at the situations we would be left to "find a fix" for when she was at Branch Operations Administration at Puget.
Over the years, we would run into each other around the North end of Tacoma and keep up to date. When we transferred to First Lutheran, your Mom introduced her self, as she knew Kris knew Steve and I. I was aware of her diagnosis and sent her a personal note. Please know she will be a treasured memory in our thoughts. God Bless her memory and all she touched. We were sorry to read of her passing. Our condolences for your families loss.
