Obituary of Earl G. Herrick
Earl was born July 4th, 1944, in Aberdeen, WA and passed away peacefully on November 5th, 2021. After graduation he joined the Navy. During his time, he enjoyed the travel and completed his service as a Vietnam veteran. After the service, his love of sports cars and travel took him on an adventure as he drove cross-country and into Mexico, taking his time and enjoying many sights along the way. Later he went into construction working for others and eventually having his own business for many years. During that time, he married Terri and they both enjoyed traveling, especially visiting the San Juan Islands which was a favorite of Earl’s. He loved the water and spent a lot of his free time boating and fishing. He later went to school and changed professions to become a Hearing Specialist, owning his own business fitting and working with hearing aids until his retirement. He enjoyed hosting barbeques and parties and was happy entertaining family and friends. Earl also had fun playing the guitar and singing karaoke.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Avery and Francis sand niece Teresa. Forever remembered by his devoted wife Terri, sister Sharon Bravos, nephews Darrell Purfeerst (Patricia), Mike Reeves (Pam), sister-in-law Karen Richardson, brothers-in-law Bob (Becky) and Rick (Brenda) Carter, numerous nieces and nephews and special friends. Earl was a good man with a big, kind heart who will be deeply missed. At his request there will be no service held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
