Mandi Anne Thompson

May 11, 1981 – May 3, 2023

 

 

Mandi Anne Thompson, passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2023, at the age of 41.

She was born on May 11, 1981 to Charles Ferguson and Pearl Ferguson (Alcaide).  Mandi grew up in Tacoma attending local schools and graduated from Foss High School, with honors, in 1999.  It was here in high school that Mandi met and ultimately married the love of her life, Preston L. Thompson.

She was truly loved, will be missed by many and leaves behind her five beautiful children, Lourenzo K. Thompson and his children, Senbonita and Syla.  Her son, Jhauntrell and daughter’s Ahlyciah Thompson and  Toni and Tulleah Sypolt.

Her best friend and sister, Angelina (Angel), Aunt Jouy Alcaide and her nephew and nieces.  Also and many, many friends and members of the extended family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Preston Thompson; her sister; Jenifer Ferguson.

Mandi was a bright light in so many lives, a source of such love and pride. She will be sadly missed in this life, but she will remain forever in our hearts.

A memorial service of Mandi's life will be held Thursday, May 18, at 3 pm at Edwards Memorial, 11020 S. Tacoma Way, Lakewood. 

A gathering of friends and family at South Tacoma Eagles, 7037 S. Pine Street, Tacoma starting around 5 pm.
